World Forge v2.1.1 — Patch Notes

Small update. A few new things and some visual cleanup from 2.1.

New Stuff

Mobile support. World Forge is now fully optimized for phones and tablets. The whole layout adapts properly, sidebars collapse, cards reflow, and everything is usable on a touchscreen without zooming or fighting with tiny buttons. Same app, just works on smaller screens now. Build your world on the couch.

Multiple calendars. You can now create more than one calendar per world. If your setting has a religious calendar running alongside a civil one, or different cultures count time differently, you can track all of them separately instead of cramming everything into one.

Custom themes. You're no longer locked to the built-in theme list. There's a full theme editor now where you can set your own colors for backgrounds, text, accents, borders, sidebar, cards, all of it. Build something that matches your world's vibe exactly. Built-in themes still work the same as before if you don't want to mess with it.

App name color picker. You can now set the color of your app name independently from the rest of the theme. There's a new swatch in the appearance editor for it. One of those things where once you see it you wonder why it wasn't always there.

Linked language picker on regions. Languages Spoken used to be a plain text field where you'd just type stuff in and hope you spelled it the same way every time. Now it's a searchable picker that connects directly to your language entries.

Story Pulse got a heartbeat. Literally. The section header has an animated pulse icon now. Ongoing conflict cards breathe with a slow crimson glow. Active thread dots have a teal pulse ring. Cards and at-risk chips react when you hover over them. And the empty state went from a blank box to "The world holds its breath — no active conflicts or threads yet." Makes the whole dashboard feel like something living instead of a spreadsheet.

Sage is the default theme for new worlds now. Felt like the right fit.

Visual and Layout Fixes

The Sage theme had a problem where the app name and the "saved" indicator were nearly invisible against the dark green header. Should've caught that before shipping. Fixed now.

Some themes had a weird square glow around the app name. Turned out the text shadow was getting clipped into a box shape. Gone.

The bottom of the Settings Appearance tab was cramped. Added some room so the last few options don't feel jammed against the edge.

Dashboard footer ("Changes saved automatically") used to get pushed off screen when you had a lot of tiles. It's pinned to the bottom now and everything scrolls above it.
